With 3 highs of platforms, we densify the space and multiply the possibilities to occupy the rooms.
A bed, chair, desk and

London we know today is the most global of the cities even when compared to New York, with the most diverse group of people working there. And preservation plays a crucial role in growing the capital in order to protect their identity and cultural values. And the concept of preservation became the cornerstone for my approach to housing development in London.
Unable to cope with the growing density, houses in London continue to shrink as they run out of land trying to keep to the housing typology. Double storey, has two receptions, a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and one or two bathrooms. less

There are different degrees of extroversion and introversion. No one is completely introverts or extroverts. We are a combination of both. However, some people are much more introverted than others. But they are only a minority group in the society.
I am designing a group-living quarter for the people with introverted personality. We know that Introverts have an inherent need for privacy. My approach is using structure to make soft division by the density. And structural density makes also privacy and hierarchy of space. This structure features solitude and community at the same time. More likely in create a sense of separate togetherness. All of them will be sharing the common areas, at the same time maintaining their own space. The structure also forms the furniture, enhances the continuity and consistency. The combination of different resolution of grids creates the intensity of privacy. Also, privacy is helped by level change and intensity of light (illuminance). Plumbing literally divides spaces into public and private zone. The most interesting part of the design is that people experience the spaces from different angles, will definitely give differing senses. When someone looks at the space parallelly it gives a sense of openess whereas look at the space diagonally it creates a sense of privacy.
In this structure, people can occupy different spaces, with the comfort of knowing where the others are. Spaces blur into one another and have no definite boundaries. The boundaries between private and public space become fluid.
Introverts are usually perceived as being anti-social but they are not. The reason why introverts feel the need to be alone is because they experience the energy loss with social interaction and need to recharge.
They are more comfortable with their inner world of thoughts than outer world. That means they tend to spend a lot of time thinking and doing things alone. To prevent the energy lose from being around people, a small private workspace will be provided in every individual bedroom to ensure that they will be free from interruptions and be more productive. Without solid walls, they can still feel a physical connection with others, even when working alone.
Introverts prefer socializing in a smaller group. The living room is designed in a more intimate setting, with the seats facing each other. This will encourage intimate conversations between just a couple of people and discourages the hustle and bustle of those large groups. One of the benefits of this tiny lattice living room is that people can divert their eyes when they need to take a moment of interaction break.
The dining table of linear shape makes it easier for introverts to gracefully avoid eye contact than round or square tables do. Short conversations with people sitting next to you are allowed. less

It is about socializing, being together under the same roof. Public spaces become the most important thing in the house.
The initial idea for this house is to bring the idea of home that I experienced back in Indonesia into here in Germany.

The kitchen as we now it now a day has been relatively slighted. This proposal aims to give this space a higher hierarchy.
